Egglofter Workshop 2022
In preparation for our Twentieth Annual Spring Eggloft and Sport Launch, F.L.A.R.E. will be conducting an egglofting rocketry workshop on Saturday, April 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Las Cruces Museum of Nature and Science, 411 N. Downtown Mall. For a registration fee of $12.00, we will provide:

An egglofter rocket kit of your choice (Several kits of different skill levels will be offered).

Construction tools and material

Instruction from our friendly neighborhood group of “rocket scientists”

Online registration is required in advance. Money will not be accepted at the workshop.
*Registered workshop participants must build their rocket during the workshop. Participants may arrive at any time during workshop hours, but are encouraged to arrive no later than 3 p.m. in order to have enough time to completely build their rocket.
The Spring Eggloft and Sport Launch will take place on Saturday, May 7 beginning at 8 a.m. at our Waterfalls launch site off Cortez Rd. .6 miles south of Dunn Dr. on the East Mesa.
Participation is open to everyone (including adults!)
